History Behind the Day

Drafted by the Constituent Assembly led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Constitution came into force on January 261950, but was adopted on November 26.

Constitution Day Celebration at SSRLTL

SSRLTL proudly observes Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and respect for the nation’s guiding principles. The event begins with a special assembly where SSRLTL students, teachers, and the principal gather to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. Students at SSRLTL participate in reading the Preamble, delivering inspiring speeches, and performing skits that highlight the importance of democracy, justice, equality, and liberty. The principal of SSRLTL addresses the audience, encouraging everyone to uphold the constitutional values that strengthen the foundation of our diverse and democratic nation.

As part of the celebration, SSRLTL organizes quiz competitions, essay writing, and poster-making activities to promote awareness about citizens’ rights and duties. The creative expressions and enthusiastic participation of SSRLTL students reflect their understanding of civic responsibility and unity. Through this meaningful observance, SSRLTL continues to instill in its learners the values of respect, equality, and patriotism — inspiring them to become responsible and aware citizens of India.
